My Beloved Child

After losing my Dad in December 2022, the first Father's Day happened to also be my birthday. I was dreading it and I felt very emotional. The day before I was in Liverpool with my husband and he found me in the women's clothing department of John Lewis crying. I tried to explain to him that I felt overwhelmed with grief.

The following morning on my birthday and Father's Day, I woke up thinking about and asking God what I could do or make to show people that they are loved and valued by Him. As I opened my daily devotional book it read, "You are My Beloved Child". I knew in that very moment God was speaking to me and the idea of making silver jewellery came to my mind. As I sat in bed, I looked to see if there were any silversmith courses near to me and found one in Liverpool! After learning some valuable lessons and skills, I decided to 'have a go' and start the journey that is now My Beloved Child.

Each individual piece of jewellery is created with you in mind, from the heart of God. Whether you know Him or not, He loves you and wants you to know how valued and loved you are. Not for what you do, but because of who you are.

Each piece of My Beloved Child jewellery is uniquely created with you in mind.

Inspired by the beauty of nature and the wondrous colours and fragility of the materials, every item is lovingly handcrafted in my Liverpool studio.

The jewellery is then hallmarked to show the authenticity of the precious metal and stamped with 'MBC' to remind you that you are loved and valued.
